Rishi Sunak faces first no-confidence letter after firing interior minister Suella Braverman

International Desk, 14th November: UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak received his initial no-confidence letter following the removal of Interior Minister Suella Braverman in a cabinet reshuffle.

This action came from Tory MP Andrea Jenkyns, a supporter of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, advocating for a replacement with a ‘true Conservative party leader’.

Jenkyns accused Sunak of dismissing their ‘democratically elected leader, Boris Johnson, who valiantly fought for Brexit during a parliamentary deadlock’.

“Enough is enough… It’s time for Rishi Sunak to go,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter), sharing her no-confidence letter.

Jenkyns later voiced her disapproval on X following Braverman’s dismissal, criticizing Sunak for ‘giving in to the left’ after Braverman’s remarks on police ‘favoritism’ in handling recent pro-Palestinian protests in London.
