Guwahati, 14th November: Assam’s cabinet minister, Atul Bora, has reportedly received a death threat through social media.
The threat, conveyed by a Facebook user named Pranash Shandilya, claims a plan to bomb the official residence of Minister Atul Bora. The nature of the threat and the identity of the source remain undisclosed.
The Facebook user wrote, “Atul Bora quatert bomb plant r plan kora hoise. Ami ulfa r pora sob kori asu. Besi din jiyai nathake ee (A plan is being drawn to plant a bomb at the quarter of Atul Bora. We in the ULFA are doing everything. You will not live for too long).”
Authorities are likely to investigate the matter, emphasizing the importance of addressing such threats seriously to ensure the safety of public figures.
