Guwahati, 14th November: In a shocking incident, the lifeless body of 26-year-old Abbas Ali was discovered near National Highway No 17 in Assam’s Dhubri district.
Public and family members suspect foul play, indicating that Ali might have been killed by unidentified assailants with a sharp object.
The deceased, who had attended Kali Puja festivities in Bilasipara, was returning home when the incident occurred.
Authorities, including Kokrajhar and Salkocha police, responded to the scene, recovering the body for further investigation.
Local residents are urging swift action to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure justice for Abbas Ali.
