Entertainment Desk, 17th November: Madhuri Dixit seems poised to venture into politics, with reports suggesting she might run in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from North West Mumbai.
Is Madhuri Dixit entering politics?
If reports are accurate, Madhuri is considering a foray into the Lok Sabha elections next year. The Bollywood star has allegedly maintained contact with leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Speculations about Madhuri’s political entry gained momentum when she was seen alongside Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, NCP leader Praful Patel, and BJP leader Ashish Shelar during the World Cup 2023 semi-finals between India and New Zealand at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
Currently, it’s believed that if Madhuri decides to contest, she might vie for the North West Mumbai seat, presently held by Shiv Sena. While there were previous rumors about her candidacy in Pune, nothing has been officially confirmed by Madhuri or any political party.
