Assam: 8 Injured Including Kids after truck Plows Into pedestrians In Bongaigaon

Guwahati, 18th November: As many as eight pedestrians, including school children sustained severe injuries when a goods-carrying truck plowed through them at National Highway no 27 in Assam’s Bongaigaon district on November 18.

The incident occurred near Gerukabari village in Bijni subdivision.

Reports suggest that the truck, traveling at high speed, lost control, leading to the collision with pedestrians, two stationary vehicles, and a shop.

Fortunately, no fatally was reported in the mishap, but several individuals including school children were injured in the accident.

It needs to mention that all the injured were rushed to a hospital in the Kajalgaon area for medical attention.
