Assam: Massive python found in Baksa

Guwahati, 28th November: A massive python was found within the confines of the Musa lodge, located on the periphery of the national park in Baksa district of Assam’s Manas National Park. The first sighting of this massive snake occurred when the lodge staff observed its presence.

Promptly, forest officials and local nature enthusiasts converged on the site to address the situation.

The team successfully recovered the massive python from the lodge’s premises. In a conservation-minded decision, the python was released into the jungles of the Bahbari Range within the Manas National Park.

This incident underscores the significance of vigilant observation and cooperative efforts between authorities and the local community in safeguarding the wildlife and maintaining the ecological balance of the national park.
