Northeast Desk, 30th November: A total of 245 individuals were detained by Manipur police on November 29 in connection with violations across different districts of the state. The state police conducted search operations, focusing on ensuring the movement of essential items in the fringe and vulnerable areas of Thoubal, Kakching, Imphal West, Tengnoupal, and Bishnupur districts.
The operations resulted in the movement of 350 and 424 vehicles along NH-37 and NH-2, carrying essential items. Strict security measures were implemented in all vulnerable locations, and security convoys were provided in sensitive stretches to ensure the free and safe movement of vehicles.
The actions by the Manipur police aim to maintain order, enforce compliance with regulations, and safeguard essential services in the specified regions.
