Arunachal: Woman Found Dead in live-in partner’s residence in Aalo; probe on
Northeast Desk, 6th December: A 24-year-old woman living with her live-in partner in Aalo, West Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh, was recovered dead, prompting an investigation.
The deceased woman shared accommodation with Toni Lollen, a married man, in the old market area of Aalo. Lollen was detained by the police upon receiving information about the death.
While Lollen claims the woman died by suicide, the deceased’s family alleges that she was subjected to torture by Lollen’s first wife.
They assert that the death was a premeditated cold-blooded murder orchestrated by both Lollen and his first wife.
The Officer in charge of Aalo Police Station, Duto Bagra, mentioned that Lollen reported the death as suicide on Monday night.
A case of unnatural death has been registered, awaiting the post-mortem report, and Lollen is currently being interrogated to ascertain the truth.
The deceased woman’s brother revealed that his sister had informed them about regular torture by Lollen’s first wife, expressing fear for her life.
Despite advising her to visit the next morning for a discussion, she was killed the same night. The family received calls from Lollen’s first wife, claiming the deceased was attempting to seize her rights and property, indicating potential motives for the murder. The family urges swift police action to prevent further bloodshed.
