Nation-Building Camp with ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ Theme Organized by National Cadet Corps in Shillong
Northeast Desk, 7th December: The National Cadet Corps (NCC), the world’s largest youth organization, is hosting a nation-building camp with the theme ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ (EBSB) at North-Eastern Hill University in Shillong, Meghalaya. The primary objective of this camp is to unite the youth of the country through cultural exchange among various states.
Organized by the NCC Directorate North Eastern Region (NER) in Shillong, the EBSB-1 camp brings together 600 NCC cadets (both boys and girls) from 10 states, including seven states from Northeast India, Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Throughout the duration of the camp, participants will engage in various cultural events, explore different places in Meghalaya, attend motivational and guest lectures, and take part in diverse competitions.
A notable feature of the camp is a two-day capsule facilitated by an expert team from EXPA (NCC Exchange Participation Association), comprising professionals from across India. This team will provide training to cadets for all-round development. The camp, initiated on December 6, 2023, will conclude on December 16, 2023, culminating in a grand cultural program.
