Former Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao Falls Down In Farmhouse, Admitted In Yashoda Hospital
National Desk, 8th December: Former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao suffered a hairline fracture in his hip after slipping at his Erravalli village farmhouse in Siddipet district on Thursday night.
Confirming the incident, his daughter MLC K Kavitha stated that he sustained a minor hip bone injury and is under expert care.
Leaders from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), close to KCR’s family, reported that the 69-year-old leader was quickly taken to a private hospital in Secunderabad on Friday.
A BRS representative stated, “He suffered a hairline fracture, otherwise he is fine. Doctors are monitoring his condition to decide if surgery is required.”
KCR had moved to his farmhouse after his party’s defeat to the Congress in the November 30 Assembly elections. Following the loss, he resigned and vacated his residence and office where he had stayed for nine years.
Before the incident, KCR had been holding meetings with party leaders at the farmhouse. In the elections, the Congress won 64 out of 119 seats, displacing the BRS, which secured only 39 seats.
This outcome prevented KCR from achieving a record third term. Despite winning in Gajwel, he faced defeat in Kamareddy, where he contested from two seats.
