Guwahati, 9th December: Amid growing instances of man-elephant conflicts across Assam, two adult elephants died of electrocution in Karbi Anglong district on Saturday morning.
The tuskers died after coming in contact with a high-voltage wire at a jungle area in the east Digaru area.
Upon the discovery of the lifeless bodies, a somber atmosphere enveloped the region, with local residents grieving the loss of these majestic animals.
It needs to mention that local people and nature lovers paid their respects by adorning it with phulam gamosa.
