PM Modi Halts Convoy to Give Way to Ambulance During Varanasi Roadshow

National Desk, 17th December: Prime Minister Narendra Modi exhibited a compassionate gesture during his roadshow in Varanasi as he halted his convoy to give way to an ambulance. This act of prioritizing emergency services echoes similar instances from the past when PM Modi stopped his convoy to make way for ambulances in Gujarat in September 2022 and in Himachal Pradesh in November 2022.

PM Modi’s two-day visit to Varanasi involves the launch and inauguration of 37 projects worth over Rs 19,000 crore for Varanasi and Purvanchal. These projects span various sectors, including roads and bridges, health and education, police welfare, smart city and urban development, railways, and airports.

During his visit, PM Modi will also launch the second edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam, a cultural event that will run from December 17-31. The event will feature the participation of 1,400 dignitaries from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, promoting cultural exchange between the two regions.

The Kashi Tamil Sangamam will include an exhibition showcasing art, music, handlooms, handicrafts, cuisine, and other distinctive products from Tamil Nadu and Varanasi. Lectures covering literature, ancient texts, philosophy, spirituality, music, dance, drama, yoga, Ayurveda, as well as seminars on innovation, trade, knowledge exchange, edutech, and next-gen technology are also part of the cultural program.

On Monday, PM Modi will participate in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra program at Barki Gram Sabha in the Sewapuri development block.
