BJP Leader Criticizes Congress’s ‘Bharat Nyay Yatra,’ Emphasizes Policy Implementation Over Symbolic Journeys
National Desk, 27th December: Shortly after the Indian National Congress unveiled its ambitious ‘Bharat Nyay Yatra’ from Manipur to Mumbai starting January 14, BJP leader Nalin Kohli took a jab at the Congress, referencing the outcome of the earlier ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra.’ Kohli questioned the effectiveness of such political programs, stating that coining slogans won’t fool the Indian people, and their rejection of the previous yatra is evident.
Kohli emphasized that yatras like ‘Bharat Jodo or Bharat Nyay Yatra’ might not bring about change, but the real transformation lies in the intent and commitment to implement good policies. He lauded PM Modi’s government for its focus on effective policy implementation.
Rahul Gandhi is set to embark on the Bharat Nyay Yatra, covering 6,200 kilometers across 14 states from January 14 to March 20. This initiative, following the Bharat Jodo Yatra, aims to address economic, social, and political injustices and engage with the public on key national concerns. The route details will be shared in due course, as announced by Congress leaders K.C. Venugopal and Jairam Ramesh during a press conference.
