Major Reshuffle in Tripura BJP Leadership Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections

Northeast Desk, 30th December: In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha election, the BJP organization in Tripura witnessed a significant reshuffle, encompassing changes in Vice Presidents, General Secretaries, Secretaries, and various wings.

The restructuring, initiated after discussions with BJP All India General Secretary BL Santosh, North Eastern In-Charge Sambit Patra, and others, aims to fortify the party’s position in the state.

The order, signed by BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya, introduced new Vice Presidents, including Dr. Ashok Sinha, Bimal Chakma, Subal Bhowmik, Tapas Bhattacharya, Papia Datta, and Patal Kanya Jamatia. Three General Secretaries—Bhagaban Das, Amit Rakshit, and Bipin Debbarma—were also appointed, along with six State Secretaries and key positions in various party wings.

Mimi Majumder assumed the role of Mahila Morcha Tripura President, Sushanta Deb as Yuva Morcha State President, and others were appointed to lead specific morchas, emphasizing diverse representation within the party.

Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha extended congratulations to the newly appointed office bearers, expressing confidence in their abilities to contribute to the party’s growth under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and All India President JP Nadda.
