Guwahati, 3rd Jan: At least eleven individuals are feared dead after a devastating accident in Assam’s Golaghat on January 3.
The incident took place in Dergaon’s Balijan area.
As per sources, the mishap occurred around 5 am on NH 37 when a mini-bus carrying picnickers collided head-on with a truck.
The ill-fated bus was en route to Tinsukia’s Tilinga Mandir at the time of the accident.
Reports indicate that more than 24 passengers have been immediately shifted to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital for urgent medical attention.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
