Nagaland: Four Naga National Council (Non-Accordist) Cadres Surrender to Assam Rifles in Mon district
Northeast Desk, 7th January: Four active cadres of the Naga National Council (Non-Accordist) on January 7 willingly surrendered before the Assam Rifles at Wakshing in the Mon district of Nagaland.
According to sources, these cadres have been operating actively in the region since 2019.
Assam Rifles officially confirmed the development via their Twitter handle, stating, “The relentless efforts of #AssamRifles lead to the surrender of four cadres of Naga National Council (Non-Accordist) cadres with one 9 mm Pistol at Wakching, Mon District, Nagaland. The cadres had been highly active in the area since 2019. @adgpi @HMOIndia”.
