Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra Reaches Nagaland, Addresses Key Issues

Northeast Desk, 17th January: As part of his political journey, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi made a significant stop in Mokokchung, Nagaland, during the ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.

This yatra, aimed at fostering unity and addressing key issues, commenced in Manipur on January 14, 2024, and reached Nagaland by January 16.

The extensive campaign spans 6,713 kilometers, passing through 15 states, 110 districts, 100 Lok Sabha seats, and 337 Assembly segments.

Rahul Gandhi interacted with locals in Kohima, emphasizing the Congress party’s commitment to equality among all states.

The Naga Hoho also submitted a memorandum seeking the implementation of the Framework Agreement to Gandhi during his visit. The yatra is set to conclude in Mumbai on March 20, 2024.
