Union HM Amit Shah Participates in Cleanliness Drive at Mahabhairab Temple in Assam’s Tezpur

Guwahati, 19th January: Union Home Minister Amit Shah engaged in a cleanliness drive at the historic Mahabhairab Temple in Tezpur, Assam, underscoring the government’s commitment to Swachh Bharat and preserving cultural heritage.

Earlier in the day, Amit Shah addressed the 71st Plenary Session of the Northeast Council in Shillong. He applauded the transformative decade under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, emphasizing the significant achievements and progress in infrastructure development and conflict resolution.

Taking to X after the plenary session, Home Minister Amit Shah shared his positive perspective on the region’s transformation. He highlighted the Northeast’s departure from a history of blockades and unrest, moving towards a future characterized by peace and development.
