Guwahati, 21st January: A minor road accident was reported in Guwahati on Saturday night, involving two four-wheelers, fortunately resulting in no casualties.
The incident occurred in the wee hours at ABC point in Guwahati, where a Hyundai and a Jeep collided. The accident took place at a spot where vehicles typically slow down to take a turn.
It is believed that the Jeep, registered as AS 01 ES 8333, was preparing to turn and had slowed down when the Hyundai, registered as AS 01 AJ 8325, collided with it from behind.
As a consequence of the accident, both vehicles sustained damages to some extent. However, the collision was not severe enough to cause any loss of lives or injuries.
