Arunachal Pradesh Joins Nationwide Celebration of Ram Mandir’s Inauguration
Northeast Desk, 22nd January: Arunachal Pradesh actively participated in the nationwide celebration of the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, considering it a significant historical event. State leaders and citizens in Itanagar followed the ceremony from their homes, engaging in rituals and prayers.
Lt Gen Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik performed puja Archana at the Mandir of Nitivihar, emphasizing the cultural and religious importance of the occasion. The Mayor of Itanagar, along with corporators, witnessed the live program and conducted rituals at their homes, sharing insights into the history of Ram Mandir and its enduring significance.
The Mayor highlighted the universal love for Lord Ram and his teachings among the people of Arunachal, regardless of religious affiliations. Mama Natung, the Forest and Sports Minister, hailed the inauguration as a historical day, not only for Hindus but for all Indians, emphasizing the global appeal of Ram Mandir as a precious historical asset.
Arunachal Tachang Phassang expressed the day’s significance beyond religious aspects, considering it an auspicious glory day. He noted that Arunachal Pradesh serves as a living example of religious harmony, where diverse religions coexist peacefully. Tachang highlighted the mass participation from all sections of society in Itanagar, showcasing unity during the auspicious Pran Pratishtha and inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
