Guwahati, 26th January: Three poachers have been arrested by Assam Police on Friday and seized five dead birds from their possession in Hojai district.
The poachers identified as Sagar, Aman, and Rahul were arrested from Lumding.
As per sources, the trio hails from the RPSF colony of Lumding.
Reportedly, five dead birds and a pistol were seized from the trio’s possession.
The three accused have been handed over to the officials of the Lumding Forest Department for further investigation into the case.
