Arunachal: Clash Among Minor Hostel Girls in Doimukh Claims Life of 12-Year-Old

Northeast Desk, 2nd March: In a deeply saddening incident in Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh, a Class 6 student tragically lost his life amidst an alleged dispute among friends within the premises of a private school hostel.

The deceased, a 12-year-old student, met with the unfortunate demise following circumstances yet to be fully ascertained.

Police authorities have taken swift action, detaining two friends of the deceased, who are currently under the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Justice Board.

The incident unfolded within the confines of a girl’s hostel on the school premises, occurring late last night around 10 pm, as detailed by the Superintendent of Police.

Addressing the role of the school authorities, authorities have detained the school principal and warden for questioning, aiming to discern any potential lapses or oversights from the institution’s end.

Providing insights into the ongoing investigation, police officials emphasized the commencement of inquiries based on the FIR filed by the deceased’s parents. Following the completion of the post-mortem examination, the body was duly handed over.

While the exact cause of death remains under investigation, initial reports indicate the potential involvement of foul play, with the circumstances surrounding the incident shrouded in uncertainty.

Identified as minors, two individuals have been apprehended in connection with the incident, marking the commencement of further proceedings to be conducted before the Juvenile Justice Board.
