Northeast Desk, 4th March: In a swift and successful operation, Manipur Police rescued a 55-year-old individual along with his vehicle on March 4, two days after he was abducted by unknown miscreants from Imphal East.
Following the filing of a missing report, Manipur Police launched immediate search operations, culminating in the safe recovery of the abducted person and his vehicle from the Napetpalli area.
Preliminary investigations led to the arrest of one Lukhram Bikram Singh, also known as Kuthan, aged 40, from Khurai Ningthoubung Leikai, in connection with the case.
He was subsequently remanded into police custody by the Duty Magistrate for further interrogation and legal proceedings.
