AASU Organizes Mass Bike Rally Against CAA Across Assam

Guwahati, 7th March: The All Assam Student Union (AASU) on March 7 organized a mass bike rally across the state in protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Hundreds of AASU members participated in the motorbike rally, demanding the repeal of the contentious Act.

In various districts such as Dibrugarh, Kokrajhar, and others, massive motorcycle rallies were organized on Thursday, March 7.

Led by AASU vice president Nabajyoti Roy, hundreds of AASU leaders and activists took part in an anti-CAA motorcycle rally from the AASU district office premises near Ras Mela ground in Kokrajhar town.

Addressing the media, the student leader reiterated the commitment of AASU to continue its democratic movement against the CAA.

Ahead of the CAA protest, the state police force had tightened security measures to prevent any untoward incidents.
