Assam CM Confident of NDA Victory in Northeast in LS elections
Guwahati, 7th March: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed confidence in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) winning the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He asserted that the NDA is poised to secure 22 of the 25 seats from the North-East region.
Furthermore, Sarma hinted at the possibility of this number rising to 23. He described the forthcoming elections as straightforward, anticipating no complications.
While interacting with the media on March 7, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma stated, “…NDA is going to win 22 out of 25 seats from North-East. This is final. It can also become 23…It is going to be a very simple election, there will be no complication”.
