PM Modi Embarks on Kaziranga Safari, enamored by its wild beauty

Guwahati, 9th March: Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on an early morning jeep and elephant safari ride after spending the night at the renowned World Heritage site of Kaziranga National Park in Assam.

After a warm welcome upon his arrival in Assam’s Golaghat, Prime Minister Modi spent the night in Kaziranga, where he ventured into the Kaziranga National Park for a safari early this morning.

His visit to Assam, part of a two-day itinerary, includes the inauguration and foundation laying of projects totaling Rs 18,000 crore.

Welcomed by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma upon his arrival at Tezpur airport, Prime Minister Modi’s visit was marked by enthusiasm from #ModiParivarAssam, as shared by Sarma on X.

From Tezpur airport, Prime Minister Modi flew to Panbari in Kaziranga via helicopter. The final leg of his journey, covering approximately 15 kilometers, was by road from the helipad to the Police Guest House near Central Kohora Range in Kaziranga National Park.

Having spent the night at the guest house, Prime Minister Modi undertook a jungle safari early Saturday morning.
