Guwahati, 9th March: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of several projects worth Rs 18,000 crore in Jorhat today, March 9.
A large number of beneficiaries of the ‘Lakhpati Baideos’ scheme have already gathered at Meleng Meteli field in Jorhat in anticipation of PM Modi’s arrival.
In addition to addressing the public gathering, PM Modi will inaugurate the statue of Lachit Barphukan at Lachit Maidam in Hoollongapar, Jorhat.
Following the events in Jorhat, PM Modi will proceed to Arunachal Pradesh, where he is scheduled to unveil the Sela Tunnel project later today.
