Assam: 3 poachers apprehended with animal parts, hunting weapons in Chirang’s Bijni
Guwahati, 9th March: Three poachers have been apprehended in a joint operation conducted by Panbari forest range officials and the police battalion in Bijni’s Panbari, Chirang district in Assam.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Ashok Brahma (27), Dhansing Goyari (25), and Bergo Musahari (40) from Kadamguri No. 2. Their residences are located in Kadamguri and Larugaon.
Additionally, three individuals involved in the poaching activities are currently absconding.
During the operation, the team confiscated hunting materials, animal parts, and two guns from the poachers. The authorities remain vigilant in combating illegal poaching activities in the region.
