Haryana BJP MP Brijendra Singh Resigns from Party Membership, Hints at Possible Shift to Congress

National Desk, 10th March: Brijendra Singh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP representing Haryana, has tendered his resignation from the primary membership of the party.

The incumbent from Hisar Assembly constituency made his announcement on Sunday via the social media platform X, citing ‘compelling political reasons’ for his decision.

“I have resigned from the primary membership of BJP, due to compelling political reasons. I extend gratitude to the party, National President Sh. JP Nadda, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, & Sh Amit Shah for giving me the opportunity to serve as the Member of Parliament for Hisar,” Singh stated in his post.

The BJP encounters a setback in the run-up to the impending Lok Sabha elections. Fueling speculation about a potential switch to the Congress party, Brijendra Singh was spotted at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge shortly following his resignation from the BJP.
