Guwahati, 16th March: Himanta Biswa Sarma, speaking recently, expressed confidence in Assam’s intellectual community’s clarity regarding their voting choice for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Sarma highlighted the developmental strides under Modi’s governance, emphasizing widespread support for Modi among the people.
“Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Jorhat, Sivasagar, Tezpur, Guwahati, Silchar, and other cities where the intellectual community resides, know whether to vote for Rahul or Narendra Modi,” Sarma stated, underscoring the quick decision-making process in favor of Modi.
He further predicted a victorious outcome of 13 seats for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming state elections, framing the electoral contest as a decisive battle between Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Sarma’s remarks reflect his confidence in Modi’s leadership and the BJP’s prospects in Assam.
