Assam CM Empowers Startups with Grants: March 17 Initiative

Guwahati, 17th March: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took a significant step towards fostering the growth of startups in the state by distributing grants to eligible ventures on March 17. Under this scheme, a total of 10 startups received financial support to either initiate their innovative ideas or scale up their existing businesses. The grants were disbursed as follows:

  1. ZERUND: Rs 10,00,00,000
  2. Sprengal Food Technologies: Rs 27,08,500
  3. Innotech Agropostikam: Rs 22,63,000
  4. Rongnidaan Technologies: Rs 15,28,100
  5. Spicenatura Foodtech, FULONI, QOPTARS, NE Hygiene Solutions, Bikozee Ecotech, PDOC Infoservices OPC, and Selabx Systems received Rs 5,00,000 each

This initiative underscores the state government’s commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent and promoting innovation-driven economic growth. By providing crucial financial assistance to promising startups, Assam aims to create a conducive ecosystem for their success and contribute to the overall socio-economic development of the region.
