Guwahati, 18th March: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has lodged a complaint with the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), alleging that the Assam Government is in violation of the Model Code of Conduct.
APCC Chief Borah asserts that government advertisements featuring images of the Prime Minister and Chief Minister continue to be displayed despite the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct.
In the letter addressed to the CEC, Borah urges immediate action against this alleged violation and calls for appropriate measures to ensure adherence to the electoral guidelines.
