Assam: Tourist Vehicle Narrowly Escapes Charging Rhino in Manas National Park

Guwahati, 18th March: A harrowing incident unfolded in Manas National Park, Assam, as a giant rhinoceros charged towards a tourist vehicle, endangering the lives of passengers onboard.

The incident occurred on the Mathanguri-Banhbari road within the Banahbari range of the park, underscoring the importance of responsible wildlife tourism and the unpredictable nature of wild animals.

A group of tourists from the Bongaigaon oil refinery was on a jeep safari in Manas National Park when the unexpected attack occurred.

The massive rhino suddenly charged towards their vehicle, catching them off guard. Despite the imminent danger, the driver’s quick thinking and decisive action prevented a potential tragedy.

With remarkable presence of mind, the driver skillfully maneuvered the vehicle away from the charging rhino, ensuring the safety of the passengers onboard.
