Guwahati, 18th March: Sauna Bhumij, a young resident of Mariani in Assam’s Jorhat district, has been reported missing while traveling to Tamil Nadu in search of employment. Bhumij’s disappearance occurred at Purulia train station in West Bengal, where he was last seen en route to his destination.
The circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear, prompting concern among his family and authorities. Despite an exhaustive seven-day search, no leads have been found regarding Bhumij’s whereabouts.
The family has lodged a complaint at the local police station, initiating efforts to locate and ensure the safe return of the missing youth.
