Government Approves Three Major Road Construction Projects in Arunachal Pradesh
Northeast Desk, 20th March: The Ministry of Road Construction and Highways, Government of India, has given the green light to three significant road construction projects in Arunachal Pradesh, with a total worth of Rs 1871 crore. These projects aim to bolster connectivity and spur economic development in the northeastern state.
*Project Details:*
1. *Huri-Taliha Section of NH-913 (Frontier Highway):*
– Spanning from km 55.725 to km 113.250 (Package-3) in district Kurung Kume.
– Total length: 49.150 km
– Cost: Rs. 1211.35 crore
2. *Kharsang – Miao Gandhigram Vijaynagar Road NH-913 (Frontier Highway):*
– Stretching from km 35.580 to km 81.400 (Package-2) in district Changlang.
– Total length: 17.812 km
– Cost: Rs. 244.39 crore
3. *Bomdila- Nafra-Lada Section of NH-913 (Frontier Highway):*
– Connecting Bomdila to Nafra-Lada in district West.
– Total length: 15.146 km
– Cost: Rs. 415.37 crore
