Assam: One Injured As Miscreants Open Fire In Parbatjhora

Guwahati, 22nd March: One person sustained severe injuries after unidentified miscreants fired shots in a passenger bus in Assam’s Parbatjhora today.

The incident took place on National Highway 17 in Parbatjhora.

As per sources, the bus bearing registration number AS19-C-8597 was attacked by miscreants when the bus was heading towards Dhubri from Tulsibeel in Kokrajhar

The shooting incident occurred between Panbari and Suparighat.

Amidst the chaos, one passenger was allegedly hit by a bullet after the assailants targeted the bus, breaking the mirror of a window in the process.

Upon receiving information, police officials arrived at the spot and sent the injured to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

However, the identity of the miscreants and their motive behind the shooting is yet to be ascertained.

Meanwhile, an investigation in this matter has been initiated by the police officials.
