Assam: Three Suspected Heroin Traffickers Arrested By STF In Guwahati

Guwahati, 23rd March: In a decisive operation, a team of the Special Task Force (STF) under the leadership of Inspector Kapil Pathak executed a swift raid based on actionable intelligence in Khanapara, Guwahati, within the jurisdiction of Dispur Police Station. The operation resulted in the apprehension of three individuals suspected of trafficking heroin, along with the seizure of a significant quantity of contraband.

During the raid, the STF team confiscated 50 vials containing approximately 66.5 grams of suspected heroin. Additionally, one auto rickshaw, mobile phones, and a sum of cash were also seized as part of the operation.

The successful operation underscores the relentless efforts of law enforcement agencies in combating drug trafficking and ensuring the safety and security of communities. Investigations into the apprehended individuals and the seized contraband are ongoing, as authorities work to dismantle illegal drug networks and prevent further harm to society.
