China persistently asserts its unfounded claim over Arunachal Pradesh, a stance vehemently rejected by India as absurd and ludicrous.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge emphasized Arunachal Pradesh’s inseparable connection to India, condemning any hint of Chinese encroachment on its territory.
Highlighting China’s history of making groundless territorial claims, Kharge underscored the need for unity in safeguarding India’s sovereignty against external threats.
Kharge criticized the Modi government’s alleged complacency towards China’s aggressive actions, citing instances of border village construction and reported abductions near Arunachal Pradesh.
The Congress leader accused the Modi administration of jeopardizing national security in Arunachal Pradesh through what he termed as a ‘pleasing China policy.’
Expressing concern over the escalating tensions, Kharge urged the Modi government to mount a robust rebuttal against China’s provocative claims, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace and stability along India’s borders.
