Assam and Tripura Chief Ministers Among BJP Star Campaigners for West Bengal Lok Sabha Elections
Guwahati, 27th March: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha stand out as the Northeast’s representatives in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) roster of 40-star campaigners for the forthcoming West Bengal Lok Sabha elections.
The BJP has unveiled its list of star campaigners, featuring prominent leaders like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, and Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Notably, regional stalwarts including Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath join the lineup, highlighting the party’s comprehensive approach to the electoral battle in West Bengal.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma secures the sixth position on the list, underscoring his pivotal role in the BJP’s campaign strategy for West Bengal. Likewise, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha occupies the seventh position, bringing his expertise and experience to bolster the party’s efforts in the region.
