Assam: 22-year-old man dies after falling under brick kiln in Dhubri

Guwahati, 30th March: In a tragic incident, a 22-year-old man dies after falling under a brick kiln in South Salmara Mankachar district of Assam on March 30.

The incident took place at Maishghuma village in Mankachar subdivision of Dhubri district.

The deceased has been identified as Ali Akbar Rahman (22), son of Abdul Khaleque, a resident of Chirakhowa Maishghuma village.

As per sources, Rahman died while setting fire to a brick kiln in the morning.

Upon receiving information, Kalapani Police along with an executive magistrate reached the spot and has started an investigation into the case.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been sent to Dhubri for postmortem examination.

The incident has created a sense of terror among the locals.
