Assam: Cash Seized in Flying Squad Operation by Bongaigaon District Administration
Guwahati, 4th April: The Bongaigaon district administration on April 4 conducted a flying squad operation, leading to the seizure of a substantial amount of cash from a vehicle.
Based on various inputs, the flying squads targeted a specific vehicle identified by its registration number, WB02AA3215.
The operation yielded the confiscation of Rs 4,31,200 in cash. The raid took place in Shahid Bedi, located within Bongaigaon town.
The money was seized due to suspected violations of election regulations, particularly related to individuals carrying amounts exceeding Rs 50,000 during the election period.
