Assam CM Promises Additional Government Jobs During Election Campaign in Digboi

Guwahati, 5th April: Assam’s Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, conducted a spirited election campaign for Sarbananada Sonowal in Digboi, Tinsukia district today, emphasizing the government’s commitment to youth empowerment and job creation.

Addressing the crowd, Chief Minister Sarma reiterated his pledge made during the last Vidhan Sabha election to provide 1 lakh government jobs to the youth of Assam. Despite facing criticism from the opposition, he proudly announced that the government had fulfilled its promise by offering jobs to 1 lakh youths.

Highlighting the upcoming recruitment drive, Sarma assured the gathering that interviews for police positions would be conducted in July, with plans to create an additional 50,000 government jobs for the youth. This commitment reflects the government’s unwavering dedication to addressing unemployment and fostering economic growth in the state.

Emphasizing the merit-based nature of the recruitment process, Sarma applauded recent appointments within the police force, highlighting the integrity and fairness of the selection process. He assured the public that job opportunities would be accessible to all without the influence of intermediaries or bribery.

In a firm message, the Chief Minister reiterated the government’s stance against corruption and urged citizens to support the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming elections. He promised continued efforts to provide job and business opportunities to the common masses, emphasizing the party’s commitment to transparency and accountability in governance.
