Guwahati, 6th April: To address the surging demand for linens on trains, NF Railway has unveiled state-of-the-art laundry care centers in Guwahati, Katihar, and Alipurduar.
In a proactive move to cater to the escalating linen requirements and ensure top-notch service for passengers, NF Railway has established cutting-edge laundry care centers in Guwahati, Katihar, and Alipurduar.
The Guwahati facility boasts an impressive production capacity of 16,000 bedroll packets per day. Similarly, the Katihar and Alipurduar centers are equipped to produce 2,000 and 2,100 bedroll packets per day, respectively.
These facilities are poised to meet the growing linen needs of various trains originating from Guwahati, including the Amarnath Express, Lokmanya Tilak Express, and Avadh Assam Express, as well as trains from Kamakhya, Alipurduar, and Katihar, such as the Northeast Express, Brahmaputra Mail, Sikkim Mahananda Express, Amrapali Express, and Champaran Humsafar Express.
