Assam: 18 injured in road accident in Nagaon, 4 critical

Guwahati, 7th April: In a tragic incident, 18 individuals sustained severe injuries after a road accident in Nagaon district of Assam on April 7.

The incident took place at the Hahsara Barali Gaon village located in the Samaguri subdivision of Nagaon.

As per sources, the road mishap took place when a mini-truck, overloaded with passengers, suddenly turned turtle on the road after losing control.  

Out of the 18 injured people, who were onboard the vehicle, the condition of 4 people are critical at the moment.

Following the accident, the injured were immediately transported to Nagaon.

Amidst the chaos, a display of solidarity and humanity emerged as members of the public, assisted by paramilitary personnel who arrived ahead of the police, rallied together to rescue the injured, highlighting the crucial role of community support in times of crisis.
