Guwahati, 10th April: In a devastating turn of events, a fierce blaze tore through the residence of Pappu Hira, a young newspaper hawker, in Hiragaon, Bengenaati, situated in Assam’s Nagaon district during the night, resulting in his untimely demise. The fire, which erupted around 1 am, caught locals by surprise, triggering frantic attempts to douse the flames.
Eyewitnesses and residents rushed to the scene, only to discover Pappu Hira’s lifeless body amidst the charred remnants of his home. Pappu, who was reportedly asleep when the fire erupted, tragically found himself unable to escape the engulfing inferno.
