Guwahati, 28th April: A viral photo circulating on social media has ignited a political storm, with members of the Pramod Boro-led United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) seen reclining on a substantial pile of Rs 500 notes.
The individuals in question, identified as Anthony Narzary and Johnny Boro, have become the focal point of intense scrutiny amidst the ongoing election fervor.
The UPPL party, under the leadership of Bodoland CEM Pramod Bodo, has publicly committed to combating corruption, aligning itself as a political force opposed to unethical practices. This stance contrasts sharply with the Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) led by Hagrama Mohilary.
