Assam CM Accuses Congress Manifesto of Radical Influence

Guwahati, 29th April: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, on April 29, alleged that the Congress manifesto bore the influence of radical leftists, mullahs, or even Pakistani elements.

As Assam prepares for the final phase of polling on the remaining four Lok Sabha seats in Western Assam and Guwahati, Chief Minister Sarma, leading the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) charge, intensifies efforts to engage with voters, particularly focusing on the Muslim electorate, pivotal in these constituencies.

Speaking to the media, Sarma disclosed the party’s strategy to secure a significant portion of the Muslim vote bank, asserting that half of the state’s Muslim electorate has already voted for the BJP in completed constituencies. He attributed this support to Muslim voters’ recognition that the BJP’s agenda serves their interests.

With the impending third phase of polling, constituencies like Barpeta and Guwahati are under close scrutiny. Sarma declared his active involvement in campaigning for BJP allies in these areas, underscoring the importance of garnering support across diverse communities.
