Arunachal Pradesh Governor Celebrates Gujarat and Maharashtra State Foundation Day, Promotes Inter-State Unity

Northeast Desk, 1st May: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik extended warm greetings to the people of Gujarat and Maharashtra on their respective State foundation days, celebrated at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar on May 1, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among diverse communities.

Commending the invaluable contributions of the people of Gujarat and Maharashtra to their ‘Karma Bhumi’, Governor Parnaik conveyed heartfelt good wishes on behalf of the Arunachal Pradesh populace, underscoring the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’.

In the spirit of fostering inter-state harmony, Governor Parnaik, along with the First Lady of the State Anagha Parnaik, hosted a convivial high tea for residents of Gujarat and Maharashtra residing in Arunachal Pradesh, engaging in meaningful interactions with them.

Expressing optimism for strengthened ties in the future, Governor Parnaik emphasized the importance of nurturing relationships between states, envisioning a collaborative approach towards progress and prosperity.

Reflecting on the significance of celebrating state foundation days, Governor Parnaik highlighted the Raj Bhavan’s tradition of commemorating the State foundation day of various states over the past year, providing a platform for mutual understanding and recognition of achievements and challenges.

Acknowledging the pivotal role of individuals from Gujarat and Maharashtra in the state’s development journey, Governor Parnaik emphasized their substantial contributions to Arunachal Pradesh’s burgeoning infrastructure landscape over the past decade.
