Guwahati, 3rd May: In a targeted operation based on intelligence inputs, a team from the Noonmati Police Station of the Central Guwahati Police District successfully apprehended an individual identified as Rajesh Rai, also known as John, from Dimapur.
The arrest took place during a raid conducted at Rai’s rented accommodation in Yuva Nagar. During the operation, law enforcement recovered a factory-made .22 pistol, along with a magazine and 21 live rounds of ammunition, from Rai’s possession.
