Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma Assesses Impact of CM-CONNECT Initiative
Northeast Desk, 3rd May: Meghalaya’s Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma, conducted a thorough review of the flagship initiative CM-CONNECT on May 3, emphasizing its significant role in addressing public concerns.
Expressing his appreciation for the platform’s effectiveness, Sangma remarked, “In the past few months, through this citizen-centric platform, we have been able to address various concerns of the public,” in an address to X.
Additionally, Sangma affirmed the initiative’s potential to expand its outreach through avenues like public hearings and engaging activities. “Moving forward, we shall be reaching out to the community, through public hearings and other engaging activities. Your voices matter, and we are here to listen, understand, and act on your concerns,” he assured.
Launched by Chief Minister Sangma on February 15, 2024, the CM-Connect platform serves as a centralized hub for filing complaints, accessing government scheme information, and resolving public grievances in a timely manner.
Designed as an omnichannel platform, CM-Connect facilitates the resolution of grievances, addresses citizens’ queries, and registers citizen needs efficiently.
During the launch, Sangma elaborated on the platform’s purpose, stating, “CM Connect is a platform through which we are providing a platform to citizens to be able to address their concerns, complaints, get information about government schemes. So it’s a one-point contact.”
